Yukinobu Uchida has been Country Manager for DNV GL’s Japanese Energy team since it was established in 2003. He has almost 3 decades of experience in the wind industry, advising some of the country’s largest industrial conglomerates on both onshore and offshore wind. Yukinobu Uchida has extensive experience of the Japanese renewable energy market, and has been involved in numerous projects, including previous work on regulatory conditions for new entrant WTG suppliers to the Japanese market.

He has been a member of IEC 61400-26 Standardization Working Group for the International Standard for Availability of Wind Turbine and Wind Power Plant since its founding in 2007. He is also a member of Japanese National Sub-Committee for Standardization of Wind Turbine Certification System.
