Hiroyuki Ishijima

Head of International Offshore Wind, Tokyo Marine Insurance

After graduating from Keio University in Tokyo in 2001, Hiro immediately joined Tokyo Marine (TMNF). Prior to relocating to the TMNF London office, Hiro was responsible for marketing all classes of insurance, risk consultancy, charter party consultancy and account management for Japan marine hull market, dealing with Japanese hull owners and charterers including their oversea offices.

Whilst in London, Hiro specialized in underwriting hull, offshore energy and offshore renewable projects. Having returned to Japan, he is responsible for upstream energy and offshore renewable energy accounts. In his role as Head of International Offshore Wind, Hiro has day to day contact and discussions with the leading London market underwriters, conversing on a variety of subjects.
