Dr. Tony Wu heads the planning and strategic development team at BMT with more than 20 years of experience in the ports, logistics, supply chain and offshore energy sectors. He works extensively with global shipping lines, port operators, offshore service operators including energy and wind farm operators, as well as government agencies and entities across the region involving sustainable practices and the development of renewables and infrastructure projects.
His areas of expertise include operations management and development, policy design, feasibility assessment and technical due diligence for offshore energy, transportation as well as logistics and supply chain. Dr. Wu also has an extensive track record in the sphere of renewable energy, having advised on designing the guidelines for the development of offshore wind projects tailored to the local context for Taiwan, a leading offshore wind forerunner in Asia, the development and design of various wind farm service vessels for the leading players in the market based on BMT’s proprietary Active Fender System which ensures the safety of personnel working on wind turbines. Furthermore, Dr. Wu has experience in developing and delivering Port and Supply Chain Readiness for offshore wind in the region.
