Shinichi Masumoto

Managing Director – Energy & Power, Marsh Broker Japan, Inc.

Shinichi (Wilt) Masumoto is responsible for sales, consulting, and placement for both Japan’s local and overseas Energy, Power and infrastructure business. He is also responsibility for renewable energy and nuclear power business.
He started his career in the insurance industry in 1987 after graduating from faculty of Material Science of Tohoku University. He also had experience working in US and Germany. He joined J&H Marsh & McLenann Japan (now Marsh Japan, Inc.) in 1998 to run its Osaka office. He was transferred to Marsh Broker Japan, Inc. in 2000. Since then he is responsible for a specialty practice, Power & Utility (now Energy & Power) in Japan.
