Nick Wessels

Marketing and Sales Manager, Ulstein

Nick Wessels graduated from nautical college and sailed as deck officer, marine engineer and DP officer. Furthermore he holds a bachelor degree in Maritime Management. After his studies he started in the offshore industry with Heeremac as junior safety engineer returning to sea for Tideway as maritime officer/DP officer on a DP3 vessel.

In 1999 he joined Holland Marine Equipment, trade association for marine equipment suppliers, leaving in 2007 as deputy director. Since 2007, Nick Wessels is working for ship design office Ulstein Design & Solutions (and its predecessor Sea of Solutions) as Marketing & Sales Manager, focussing primarily on the offshore wind industry, offshore decom market and offshore oil & gas industry.
