Executive General Manager for Offshore in APAC at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

Niels Steenberg originates from Denmark but he has spent eighteen years in Asia Pacific. He joined the Wind Power industry in 2011, and has been leading Siemens Gamesa’s Offshore activities in Asia Pacific since the establishment of its regional headquarters in Taipei, in December 2017. Prior to that, he was heading onshore sales in the region for four year. His aim is to establish a strong and sustainable footprint for Siemens Gamesa in Asia Pacific, in order to support the development of the offshore industry with competitive product solutions, fit for the region’s specifics needs.
