Julien Marchal

Chief Commercial Officer, Naval Energies

Julien Marchal joined Naval Energies as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive committee since 2017. He started his professional career within the Ministry of Environment.
After being responsible as Deputy Head of the unit in charge of renewables energies (2009-2011) and Deputy Head of the unit in charge of nuclear export (2011 – 2012), both within the French Ministry of Energy and Environment, he pursued to be the policy advisor on energy and housing inside the cabinet of the French president François Hollande (2012 – 2014)
From 2014 – 2016 he became advisor of Emmanuel Macron within the Ministry of Economy and Industry in charge of environmental, energy and extractive industries. Julien Marchal is 37 years old, graduated as an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France.
