Jesper Krarup Holst

Jesper Holst is a CEO of CI Wind Power Development Taiwan (CIPs’ Taiwan entity) and CEO of COP Taiwan and therefore responsible for CIP and COP’s offshore wind activities in Taiwan. Jesper relocated to Taiwan in August 2017 together with his family and has established CIP and COP’s office in Taipei which counts 80 people.

Prior to joining CIP and COP Jesper worked for DONG Energy (Orsted) for 12 years until 2015. Jesper initiated DONG Energy’s UK business when he relocated to the UK in 2004 to work developing the London Array project.  He was subsequently Head of UK Project Development where he was responsible for origination and development of DONG Energy’s UK portfolio of offshore wind projects covering more than 3000 MW of projects up to FID.

From 2014-2015 he was the Programme Director for DONG Energy’s Hornsea One Project which is largest offshore wind project with 1,200 MW.

His educational background includes an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and an MBA from Henley Business School.
