Jens Egenberg

Head of Offshore Wind Research, Clarksons Platou

Jens is the head of Offshore Wind Research of Clarksons, with focus on supporting offshore wind clients with market research and strategic considerations. He has been directly involved in the offshore wind industry for more than eights years and brings along broad experience from the Vessel Supply Chain space.
Mr. Egenberg has led the Clarksons Renewables’ wind market analysis team and over the last eight years, created a framework used by several industrial players, including wind developers, contractors, shipyards, owners and equipment manufacturers in the development of their businesses and projects.
Mr. Egenberg has also supported public and private ship owners, with raising finance including both debt and equity, as well as assisting investors with understanding of the space.
Since the industry moved to new regions in APAC and US, Mr. Egenberg has put great emphasis on bridging existing knowledge with local content requirements, and assisted local shipowners entering the industry.
