Ilario Scian is Global Product Manager for Power Transformers in ABB SpA Monselice, Italy. Mr. Ilario Scian holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from University of Padova in Italy, a Project Management certificate from Stogea Business School in Italy, and a Master in Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in USA. He joined ABB SpA in Monselice, Italy in 2006, moved to ABB in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA between 2010 and 2015, and to ABB Oy in Vaasa, Finland between 2015 and 2018, gaining experience in engineering, product development, marketing and sales and product management positions locally and globally in ABB Transformer Business Unit. He holds various patents and contributed to several publications including renewable offshore applications. He is coordinator of the floating offshore initiative within ABB Power Grids division.
