Business Development Director, Cathie

Gareth is the Business Development Director for Cathie, the global offshore geoscience and geotechnical engineering consultancy. He is a seasoned offshore geotechnical engineer and Chartered Geologist and has been working in offshore wind for 15 years having gained BEng Industrial Geology and MSc Geotechnical Engineering degrees at Camborne School and Mines and University of Newcastle upon Tyne respectively.

Based in Cathie’s main UK office in the North East of England, he is responsible for the strategic development of the business, as well as client relationships, commercial matters, proposals, and managing Cathie’s global BD team. He also likes to retain a technical role in select projects.
