Fergus Smith specializes in the development, financing and acquisition of energy and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on offshore wind and other renewable energy technologies. He advised the export credit agencies and a syndicate of commercial lenders on the €2.7 billion project financing of the 640MW Yunlin offshore wind project in Taiwan and is currently advising the sponsor on the Changfang & Xidao offshore project in Taiwan, as well as other market participants on a number of other Taiwanese offshore projects. He is also advising on a range of offshore wind developments in Japan, Korea and Vietnam.
