- 1991 : Alexander Lippo(a joint venture of Alexander & Alexander and Lippo Group) Ernest was one of the four members who built up the firm from ground.
- 2006 : Ernest was promoted to Director and Head of Energy and Construction Greater China and was responsible for running the Energy & Construction operation of Aon across Hong Kong and China.
- 2012 : Ernest was promoted to the position of Chief Broking Officer and is responsible for the company’s carriers management and overall broking strategy as well as major placement’s management
- 2016 : As Chairman& CEO of Aon Taiwan Ltd.
