Ben Thompson

Partner, Mayer Brown

Ben Thompson is a Partner in the Singapore office of international law firm Mayer Brown and a member of the firm’s Global Projects Group. He has worked on project development and financing throughout Asia since 2004, with a particular focus on renewables (principally wind, solar and hydro). He has advised both sponsors and lenders on a number of the highest profile and award-winning projects in Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Mongolia.
Ben also has extensive experience in advising MLA and DFI lenders on a range of power and infrastructure projects, including ADB, IFC, AIIB, DEG and others.
