The Energy Institute (EI) is a not-for-profit chartered professional membership body bringing together expertise to tackle urgent global challenges. Responding to the climate emergency while meeting the energy needs of the world’s growing population calls for energy to be better understood, managed and valued. This ambition is at the heart of our social purpose. We are a global, independent network of professionals spanning the world of energy, convening and facilitating debate, championing evidence and sharing fresh ideas, giving voice to issues of concern and where necessary challenging the industry we work with. The EI is also secretariat for the G+ Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation. G+ is the global health and safety organisation bringing together the offshore wind industry to pursue shared goals and outcomes.
With networking events, market intelligence and an extensive export agenda, HHWE actively supports and facilitates its members in entering emerging wind energy markets for offshore (e.g. China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, US and France) and onshore wind (e.g. Turkey, Brazil and Canada). Our wide range of activities include close monitoring of potential new markets through market surveys and explorations. We regularly organize incoming and outbound trade missions and coordinate joint participation at international wind energy fairs with a Holland Pavilion.
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is a leading trade association representing the vast majority of contractors and the associated supply chain in the offshore marine construction industry worldwide. We have a membership of over 900 companies including contractors, suppliers, oil & gas companies, marine renewable energy companies and numerous non-governmental organisations (NGOs). IMCA was formed in 1995 through the merger of the former Association of Offshore Diving Contractors (AODC, formed in 1972) and the Dynamically Positioned Vessel Owners Association (DPVOA, formed in 1989). Consequently, our operational roots and technical credentials are second to none in our industry. Our mission is to improve performance in the marine contracting industry.
WFO is the world’s first association exclusively dedicated to promoting offshore wind worldwide. We bundle forces from international companies along the entire offshore wind value chain. WFO is registered as a non-profit organisation in Germany with offices in Hamburg and Singapore
