Job Description
- A Marine Electrical Engineer whose working experience will include Failure Modes and Effects Analysis for DP Equipment Class 2 and 3 vessels as a team member and independently witnessing DP FMEA Proving Trials and Annual DP Trials in the capacity of third-party surveyor.
- Familiar with IMCA DP related guidelines and with the requirements of Oil Majors, including ASOG development and implementation.
- Familiar and experienced with inspections of vessels working in the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors.
- Willing to take on new roles such as superintendency and project management of vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings.
- Willing to travel overseas and offshore when required.
- Analytical, able to work independently, results orientated, resourceful and pro-active.
- Able to independently develop competency and practice continuous professional development.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
- IMCA Accredited DP Practitioner.
- IMCA eCMID Accredited Vessel Inspector.
Experience Required
- The Projects Engineer will have at least two years’ experience working with vessel Dynamic Positioning Systems (DP) as a consultant or independent verifier.
