Company Overview

Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with a renowned company in offshore wind sector in Korea.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with local fishermen regarding fishery compensation.
  • Conduct meetings with fishermen’s associations; identify concerns and needs.
  • Coordinate with Shinan County/Jeonnam Province and MOTIE/Environment/Oceans ministries.
  • Apply for required permits (cultural heritage, maritime safety, military operations, fishery impact, wetland approvals).
  • Manage permits for CTV (Crew Transfer Vessel) routes. Coordinate with agencies on EBL and secure EBL.
  • Develop strategies for local permitting, community, and government relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering subject, or equivalent
  • Experience in community and government relations.
  • Experience in energy development or real estate development, and permitting expertise (Prefer offshore wind permit experience).
  • Great to have a solid connections with Jeonnam Province or Shinan County
  • Work Location: Mokpo
