Responsibilities

  • Lead financial modelling and valuation analysis for renewable energy investments, M&A transactions, and project finance opportunities across APAC.
  • Take full ownership of financial structuring, supporting both debt and equity transactions, including liaising with banks, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Manage the end-to-end M&A process – from deal sourcing and evaluation, due diligence coordination, and financial analysis to execution and post-deal integration support.
  • Supervise and mentor analysts and associates in the development and review of financial models, ensuring robustness, accuracy, and alignment with business strategy.
  • Lead interactions with internal and external stakeholders including clients, legal advisors, consultants, and lenders throughout deal processes.
  • Prepare and deliver investment memorandum, board papers, and executive presentations, clearly articulating financial insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct market intelligence research on relevant sectors such as electricity markets, venture capital, and infrastructure financing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Play an active role in business development by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, attending industry events, and identifying new growth opportunities in Singapore and the broader APAC region.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across regional and international finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; CFA or MBA is a strong advantage.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in financial modelling, M&A, and project or corporate finance, ideally in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong command of financial concepts and modelling techniques, particularly for project finance and M&A transactions (IRR, NPV, sensitivity/scenario analysis).
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional deal teams, conducting due diligence, and working with external advisors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to distil complex data into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the APAC region for project-related activities.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); other Asian languages are a plus.
