Riccardo Felici

A Naval Architect and Member of MRINA.

Riccardo has experience in numerous projects as Main Engineer and Project Manager providing technical analysis and cost evaluation for large contracts and variation orders. He has extensive knowledge and experience of designing, analyzing and surveying a range of operations, fixed and floating offshore structures including mobile offshore jack-up units, semi-submersibles and barges. He has been specialising in Offshore Wind Farm installation and cable laying operations analysis. In addition to performing numerous site specific assessments and operation analysis, he has been involved in Developing several Python scripts for pre / post processing in Orcaflex to reduce the run time of simulations, and Orcaflex soil interaction model to represent the reaction forces of a buried cable. He provided a training course in Orcaflex’s modelling of offshore wind operations to the Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Centre (SOIC) in Taiwan.
