William Jackson

William joined Green Giraffe in 2015
He has worked on the non-recourse financing of Airies & Sorbies, an onshore wind development portfolio (47 MW, UK, 2015) and was involved in the financing of Norther (370 MW, Belgium, 2016), focusing on modelling work, supporting the negotiation of the main contracts and assisting the due diligence workstreams. Will worked on the mezzanine financing for a global portfolio of wind and solar assets (1.6 GW, global, 2017) was part of the team that successfully advised the winning bidder in the first Taiwanese offshore wind tender (1.2 GW, Taiwan, 2018)
More recently, he assisted a buyer on the acquisition of a majority stake in a PV portfolio (38 MW, France, 2018) and provided financial modelling and contracting advisory for the Kincardine floating offshore wind project (50 MW, UK, 2018)
He co-authored a report on UK energy market reform
Before joining Green Giraffe, William built up a wide range of engineering experience, including one year working for an oil and gas company
William graduated from Imperial College London, having studied for a master’s degree in mechanical engineering
