Itsuki Kawakubo graduated a M.Eng in Graduate School of University of Tokyo in 2004. He has been working 6 years with construction company as a structural engineer and 10 years in the insurance industry. Within insurance industry, he was involved in NatCat risk modelling R&D for earthquake and tropical cyclone risks as well as Risk Engineering for earthquake exposures. He has pursued an Engineering Underwriting position until last year. He was involved in Underwriting for various large infrastructure projects inside/outside Japan including offshore wind farm project. Itsuki Kawakubo was involved in translation work for Japanese version of Offshore Code of Practice.
