Ms. Fumiyo Harada

General Manager, Corporate Finance Department, Division 5 Development Bank of Japan, Inc.

Fumiyo Harada serves as General Manager of the Development Bank of Japan, Inc.; Corporate Finance Department, Division 5, particularly responsible for renewable energy sector projects worldwide. She has a long and powerful career as a development banker including cross-border corporate and infrastructure finance. Prior to current position, she worked as a Deputy CEO for DBJ Singapore Ltd. which covers corporate and structured finance deals in the Southeast Asia and the Pacific regions. She also had been seconded to Infrastructure and Natural Resource Department (East Asia) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank as a Senior Investment Officer. She has been appointed as members of several government committees for renewable energy, including Offshore Wind Power Joint Committee, Fukushima Floating Wind Power Committee, Committee of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization. She holds a BA (Economics) degree from the University of Tokyo.
