Main Responsibilities:
- Permit Strategy Development: Develop and implement the permit strategy for offshore wind projects, including identifying and assessing regulatory requirements and associated risks.
- Collaboration with Korean Partner Developer: Work closely with the Korean partner developer to ensure all necessary permits are obtained efficiently and within project timelines.
- Application Management: Monitor the preparation and submission of permit applications, supporting documentation, and other regulatory filings as required.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor and track regulatory developments, identifying potential issues or opportunities that may impact the development of offshore wind projects.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with relevant government agencies, stakeholders, and other parties to ensure the timely obtainment of permits.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all permits and commitments for each offshore wind project, ensuring compliance.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders on the status of the permit process and any related issues or risks.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in permitting for offshore wind or other renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and permitting process for offshore wind projects in Korea.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, government agencies, and other relevant parties.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
