Project Controlling & Finance Consultant – Renewable Energy
Role Overview:
This position involves supporting the establishment of a project controlling function, ensuring financial transparency and cost control for large-scale renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar, and battery storage. The role focuses on financial analysis, cost management, budgeting, and reporting, working closely with project management teams to provide accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project controlling support and financial insights.
Monitor and manage project-related costs.
Act as a financial business partner to project management teams.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Develop and implement financial controlling systems and reporting tools.
Prepare precise financial data to support decision-making.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong interest in data analysis and financial process automation.
Business acumen with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Fluent in English and native-level Japanese (written and spoken).
Structured, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Adaptable to a fast-changing environment and able to work cross-functionally.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams.
