My client is the first company operates within the offshore wind sector in Taiwan, providing a range of marine services. They specialize in supporting the installation and maintenance of wind farms, offering logistics, vessel management, and crew transfer solutions. Currently are looking for a Head/Senior Project Manager to help expanding their businesses in the Region.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head/Senior Project Manager to lead our project management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of marine projects related to offshore wind installations and maintenance. You will work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple offshore wind projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of vessels, equipment, and personnel to optimize operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure all project activities adhere to industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress against KPIs and milestones, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws and environmental regulations specific to offshore operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and processes to identify lessons learned and implement best practices in future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the marine or offshore wind industry, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of marine logistics, vessel management, and offshore wind installation processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively.
  • Language Skills: Nativ Mandarin speaking would be needed. Professional working level in English.
