Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with a renowned offshore wind developer in Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the electrical components and power and utility and SCADA design within the EPCI contract including the certification of the electrical, utility and mechanical systems.
  • Comply with Project’s guidelines and standards in local requirements.
  • Ensure hand-over of agreed documentation to O&M.
  • Manage engineering internal & external support functions (HV, MV, LV)
  • Coordinate the overall layout within a substation in collaboration with structural engineering manager.
  • Prepare documents and ensure QA/QC of deliveries and prepare a Quality Activity Plan
  • Understand and manage interfaces for the electrical works towards other project packages as well as towards suppliers.
  • Participate in design review of new electrical equipment for potential future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related majors.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in offshore substation, offshore wind business.
  • Experience within electrical HV, MV, LV and SCADA in offshore substations engineer.
  • Fluent in both English and Korean.
