Justin Wu

Head of Asia-Pacific, BloombergNEF

Justin is Head of Asia-Pacific for BloombergNEF, an energy and technology research group within Bloomberg LP. He is a leading expert on renewable energy, energy and environment policy in Asia. As the Head of Asia-Pacific, he is the managing director for all of Bloomberg NEF’s business activities in the region and works closely with governments, investors, energy companies and industrials, to help them develop business strategies for a cleaner future.
Justin has been quoted extensively in international media and has previously testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on clean energy trade relations between the U.S. and China. He is also a frequent contributor on Asian energy issues for Bloomberg radio and television.
Originally from the Washington DC area, Justin holds a MS in Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BS in International Politics and Economics from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He has worked in a number of research and consulting roles in Washington DC, Beijing and Hong Kong and is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
